⭐The 2026 latest version focuses on noise reduction, improving the EIN to -120dB, achieving professional-grade noise performance. When connecting the preamp to an audio interface with the proper cable (such as a 1/4 inch TRS cable), it delivers an extremely clear signal, allowing you to obtain professional recording results on a low budget.
⭐The previous version boasted a maximum gain of 75dB, which was unattainable in actual use. Moreover, severe background noise would occur when the knob was turned to around 70dB, causing great inconvenience to many users. This update sets the gain range at 19~66dB, a value that is fully achievable in real-world use. Even at maximum gain, no obvious noise is produced, making it highly practical.
⭐The TS instrument input in the old version featured low impedance, resulting in signal distortion and frequency loss due to impedance mismatch when used as a DI box for instruments. This time we have increased the instrument input impedance to 1MΩ, greatly improving performance for musical instruments. Note: The two input ports cannot work simultaneously.
⭐With the rise of individual streamers, more recording scenarios have moved from traditional studios to outdoor environments. Therefore, we switched the power supply to Type-C for enhanced portability. We also replaced the old power supply scheme with a new one that offers wider compatibility, suits more power supply conditions, and reduces the chance of current noise for individual users.
⭐We have continuously collected user feedback, conducted in-depth research and analysis on noise issues, and applied these improvements to the product. We have also found that some noise issues are caused by improper connections. Our tests show that connecting the preamp to the XLR input of an audio interface produces higher noise than connecting to the TRS input. Therefore, we strongly recommend users connect the preamp to the TRS Line input of the audio interface with suitable cables for the lowest noise.
⭐We will continue to collect user feedback and develop better versions. If you have any ideas, feel free to contact us.Even the best designs require manual assembly, which may occasionally lead to oversights. For this reason, we provide 2-year after-sales support for this preamp. Any quality issues can be resolved with free return or replacement.

Customer Q&A
What microphones does the Rodywei RO03 work with?
The Rodywei RO03 works great with most dynamic and passive ribbon microphones, and it also supports condenser mics. You can even use it with instruments, though the performance isn’t as strong as the RO04 due to the input impedance design.
How do I use the Rodywei RO03?
Simply connect the RO03 between your microphone and your mixer or audio interface using XLR cables (or an XLR to TRS cable). Start with your gain turned down, then slowly turn it up until you find your ideal level.
Who is the Rodywei RO03 for?
Perfect for beginners on a budget who still want clean, professional-quality sound!

it's a solid microphone amp
I bought this To amplify my Sennheiser Microphones which I use with Dragon NaturallySpeaking for speech recognition. It is very solidly built and provides clean amplification. I changed out the power supply for third-party power supplies that I use with all of my audio equipment to make sure that there's no noise.
The sound is very clear which is necessary for speech recognition. However, it does not provide any additional warmth like the ART preamps that I use for voice recording but it's about one third the price of those units. while the sound is a little dry, it doesn't sound unnatural on my zoom calls.
I can't comment on singing are instrumental application since I don't do that.

Great product - OUTSTANDING customer service!
My initial impression was that the unit was well made. It's heavy, in a sturdy metal enclosure, and the switches and ports seem to be of high quality. I am using it in conjunction with a Fostex cassette 4-track, and I had some technical hook-up questions. My email was answered within a few hours, and the customer service rep was incredibly helpful. We exchanged a few emails until an optimum solution was suggested. The preamp works perfectly, and in fact even makes a very low end mic work/sound great. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and would happily buy more products from this manufacturer.

Nice and quiet.
Nice and quiet. I had been using a Tascam recorder as a preamp, but had a little noise on a 50 ft. XLR run to a weatherproof box under my front deck, where I keep the dynamic mic. Decided to try this preamp, and the amplification factor is about the same, but the noise floor has dropped about 6 dB. I was pleased that the box is STEEL, because it allowed me to mount it under a shelf with magnets. de KØUNX, Jim in Jefferson County, Colorado.

So clean and tight feedback!! Love it!!!
I had to dig through a lot of junk in my shed to find my dusty ol' mic. It has a filter to keep popping and other noises you don't really want down to a minimum. I hooked up my amp to this preamplifier and voila! Gain was the first thing I noticed. No feedback, but significantly louder mic output. I love that, I usually have issues with feedback and organizing distances of my equipment to deter that. My voice came through cleaner than I had imagined. This preamp is compact as well, I could fit it in my pocket, but not with jeans on. Overall, this preamp is very nice and beneficial in many applications of use, I highly recommend getting one!

A simple device that does it's job well!
As my headline suggests, there is not a lot to be said about a device as simple as this. Is your microphone output too low? Simply plug this in, connect your microphone to it and connect this to whatever you are using and "pump up the volume!" :) Also if your mic needs "Phantom power" it can provide it. Nuff said!

Mic preamp. boost
This is really gain lots for the microphone.
It's really good build.
but if you want to connect to the mic out on the back, it's a 6.5mm jack.
if you have a 3.5mm jack, use the adapter.
Good service.
Thanks the delivery, and Rodyweil.
