Very useful for mic and guitar

I use a PodMic and guitar for home recording and this little preamp makes the setup much easier. Mic goes into one channel and guitar into the other.

Plenty of gain for the PodMic and it stays surprisingly quiet. The Hi-Z input also works great for my guitar, so I don’t need another DI box.

Simple, clean and does exactly what I needed.

Two good channels for the price

I needed two separate mic channels and the RO03 2I2 has worked great.

Both channels have their own gain and outputs. Noise is very low and I can push the gain pretty high without getting a lot of hiss.

I used a Cloudlifter before and after matching the levels I really can’t hear much difference in clean gain.

Very good value for two channels.

Better than I expected

I’ve been recording for years and honestly bought this as a cheap temporary preamp.

It surprised me. Lots of clean gain and very little background hiss, even with my lower output mics.

I’ve used more expensive preamps and this holds up much better than I expected for the price.

Very happy with it.

Replaced my old mic booster

My Cloudlifter stopped working so I bought the RO03 2I2 as a replacement.

Connected it to the line inputs on my interface and it works perfectly. Plenty of gain, clean signal and very little hiss.

I originally planned to use it temporarily, but it has stayed in my setup and I use it almost every day.

Great little preamp.
